<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Cataracts and age-related macular degeneration (AMD) are the leading causes of blindness worldwide. The main symptoms of AMD are: a gradual decrease in visual acuity to the hundredth, metamorphosis, the appearance of a central scotoma, which reduces the quality of life of the patients and leads to disability. Prosthetic and stationary means of optical rehabilitation, such as magnifiers for the visually impaired, glasses, video systems are cumbersome and poorly functional. An alternative correction option is intraocular vision devices that improve the patient’s quality of life. The review considers various types of intraocular implants, in particular, the intraocular telescope system (intraocular miniature telescope-IMT, IOL-VIP, IOL-AMD), Fresnel lens, Lipschitz lens, Scharioth macular lens (Scharioth macula lens, SML), EyeMax Mono, LENTIS ® MAX IOL LS-313 MF80. The use of high-tech devices for the correction of visual disturbances in AMD has opened a new direction in the rehabilitation of low vision. Further study and implementation of the latest generation of “macular” lenses will improve the quality of life of patients with advanced stages of AMD.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>возрастная макулярная дегенерация</kwd><kwd>интраокулярная коррекция</kwd><kwd>интраокулярные имплантаты</kwd><kwd>устройства</kwd><kwd>интраокулярный телескоп IMT</kwd><kwd>IOL-VIP</kwd><kwd>IOL-AMD</kwd><kwd>линза Френеля</kwd><kwd>линза Липшица</kwd><kwd>макулярная линза Scharioth (Scharioth macula lens</kwd><kwd>SML)</kwd><kwd>EyeMax Mono</kwd><kwd>высокодобавочная ИОЛ LENTIS ® MAX LS-313 MF80</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>age-related macular degeneration</kwd><kwd>intraocular correction</kwd><kwd>intraocular implants</kwd><kwd>devices</kwd><kwd>intraocular telescope IMT</kwd><kwd>IOL-VIP</kwd><kwd>IOL-AMD</kwd><kwd>Fresnel lens</kwd><kwd>Lipschitz lens</kwd><kwd>Scharioth macular lens (Scharioth macula lens</kwd><kwd>SML)</kwd><kwd>EyeMax Mono</kwd><kwd>high-dose LENTIS ® MAX IOL LS-313 MF80</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Age-Related Macular Degeneration PPP — Updated 2015 (2015). http://www.aao.org/preferred-practice-pattern/age-related-macular-degeneration-ppp-2015.
