В исследование вошли  82 пациента  (86  глаз)  с рефрактерной глаукомой. Возраст  пациентов  варьировал от 26 до 86 лет (67,37±0,53). Среднее  внутриглазное давление (ВГД) до операции  составляло 37,8±1,04 мм рт.ст. Результаты имплантации  Ex-Press оценивали  по следующим критериям: величина  ВГД, динамика  зрительных функций,  необходимость  дополнительной медикаментозной  терапии  и реоперации, наличие  интраоперационных  и послеоперационных осложнений. Осмотр пациентов  осуществляли с 1 по 8 сутки после  операции,  а также через  1, 3, 6, 12, 24 и 36 месяцев.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. По результатам исследования относительный  гипотензивный  эффект составил 74,4% (64/86) через 1 год после  операции;  67,4% (58/86) — через  2 года; 65,1% (56/86) — через  3 года наблюдения.  Максимальное снижение ВГД отмечалось непосредственно после операции  на 61,6%. Отсутствие эффекта от хирургического лечения  в течение  3-х лет зафиксировано в 34,9% (30/86). Осложнения установлены  в 23,2% (20/86) случаев:  отслойка  сосудистой оболочки — 12,8% (11/86), гифема — 3,5% (3/86), прорезывание и дислокация — 3,5% (3/86), отсроченная экспульсивная геморрагия — 2,3% (2/86), киста  фильтрационной подушки — 1,2% (1/86).</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение.  Фистулизирующие  операции  с имплантацией Ex-Press при рефрактерной глаукоме  обеспечивают нормализацию ВГД в 65,1% случаев  (в том числе в 15,1% — на фоне  дополнительной гипотензивной  терапии) при сроках наблюдения  за пациентами  до 3-х лет. Гипотензивный эффект антиглаукомных операций с дренажным устройством  Ex-Press  зависит  от исходного вида  глаукомы:  при первичной  открытоугольной  глаукоме  (ПОУГ) — 70,7%, при глаукоме  в артифакичных  глазах  — 78,2%,  неоваскулярной глаукоме  — 30%, увеальной  глаукоме  — 50%  в сроки наблюдения  до 3-х лет.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Purpose</title><p>Purpose: to analyze the effectiveness of Ex-Press drainage device implantation  for refractory glaucoma  of different origin for 3 years.</p></sec><sec><title>Patients and methods</title><p>Patients and methods: The study  consisted of 82 patients (86  eyes)  with refractory  glaucoma  aged  26–86 years  (67.37±0.53). Pre-operative  IOP level averaged 37.8±1.04  mm  Hg.  Ex-Press  drainage device  implantation  was  rated according to  the  following criteria: IOP, time course of visual functions,  the need  for additional drug therapy  and reoperation, the presence of intraoperative and postoperative complications. Examination of the  patients was carried out from 1 to 8 days after  the  surgery and within 1, 3, 6, 12, 24 and 36 months.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results: According to our research results relative hypotensive effect equaled  74.4% (64/86) within a year after the  surgery; 67.4% (58/86) — within 2 years;  65.1% (56/86) — after  3 years  of follow-up period.  The maximum decrease in IOP by 61.6% was observed immediately after  the  surgery. There  was no effect of surgical  treatment within3 years  in 34.9% (30/86). Complications  were  observed  in 23.2% (20/86) of cases: choroidal  detachment — 12.8% (11/86),  hyphema  — 3.5% (3/86), eruption  and  dislocation  — 3.5% (3 / 86), delayed  expulsive hemorrhage — 2.3% (2/86), cyst of filtering bleb — 1.2% (1/86).</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion.
