Vladimir N. Trubilin in 1982 graduated from the 2nd Moscow State Medical Institute, in 1987 – PhD, in 1997 – MD.
From 1987 until 1989 Vladimir N.Trubilin worked as a cataract surgeon and as a researcher in "Eye Microsurgery". From 1989 until 1992 he was promoted to a senior researcher. In 1989 he was the Consultant of Ophthalmology Clinic «Casa Bianca» in Bari (Italy), in 1990 the head of the operational unit on the medical ship "Peter I" in Dubai, and later the head of the medical ship "Peter I" in Odessa, Yalta, Sochi, Batumi, Sukhumi, Larnaca (Cyprus). From 1992 until 1996 Vladimir N.Trubilin was the medical director of the ophthalmologic clinic in Sanaa (Republic of Yemen). In 1996 he completed medical training in Baltimore (USA). From 1997 until the present time Vladimir N.Trubilin is the chief ophthalmologist of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA of Russia). In 1998-1999 he studied at the State Institute of Management under the Presidential program "Improving the Effectiveness of Management" and from 1998 until the present time he acts as the head of the department of ophthalmology at the FMBA of Russia. In 1999 he completed medical training in Belgium and Italy. From 1999 until 2002 VladimirN.Trubilin was the consultant of the "International Center of Eye Protection” clinic. From 1999 until 2005 he was a consultant of the President Administration’s Medical Center. From 2010 until 2014 Vladimir N.Trubilin was a member of the expert committee for Surgical Sciences of the Higher Attestation Commission. Since 2015 Vladimir N.Trubilin is a member of the Presidium of the Russian Society of Ophthalmology.
Vladimir N.Trubilin is the author of 280 scientific and 19 methodical works, 21 inventions.
